Bring your whole family to the Historic Township of Columbine for your next vacation and experience the Colorado of yesteryear. Rent one cabin or all. The entire town is available for seminars and conferences!
Columbine Cabins offer the quiet seclusion you may be looking for on your next getaway. Open all year! We are located at the base of 11,000 foot Hahn's Peak, just 29 miles from Steamboat Springs Ski Area, Columbine borders Routt National Forest and is a short distance from the Mt. Zirkel Wilderness Area and Steamboat Lake State Park.
Our comfortable, private cabins come equipped with kitchen facilities, running water, linens and towels. Some of the cabins have private bathrooms, while the other cabins rely on our new bathroom/shower facility located in the main lodge. The lodge is handicapped accessible and features a pool table and a game and lounge area for your enjoyment. Relax at the end of the day in our wood fired sauna.

The century old town of Columbine still offers much of its original character to vacationers seeking an exciting wilderness experience.

One of the original buildings at Columbine is the Columbine General Store, dating back to the mid 1880's. This store was essential in supplying staples to the local ranchers, miners and homesteaders of the area. Now a visit will allow you to purchase a few basic groceries, and a well deserved goodie or two after your strenuous day of fun in the area.

Come stay for a day, a week, or longer at a very affordable price. Take advantage of all the activities and adventures the area has to offer! Mild summers invite activities from hiking to fishing, horseback riding and motorized sports, or just relax under the tall green aspen trees in the wildflower meadows. Bring your camera and binoculars and enjoy Colorado's abundant bird and wild life. Fall is equally beautiful with the golden hues of the changing aspen leaves. The thrill of nordic skiing and snowshoeing is just outside your warm cabin door during the inviting winter months. Ski season at Columbine can stretch easily into May.

Dogs welcome - they need a vacation too!
